The Devil is what you get when you have The Lovers…but in excess. Intoxicating, boozy, and full of desire. Don’t let the name fool you. In tarot, The Devil card is all about liberation and freeing yourself from the things that bind you, whether that be addictions of any kind, negative thought patterns, limiting beliefs, toxic situations, overindulgence. While we never want to encourage indulging in vices, this may be the one exception.

All of the floral, powder, and spices you get in The Lovers, plus the heady scents of a bourbon + cigars. 

This is one of our all-time favorite fragrances. We love it as a perfume, but there’s some magic at play when it comes to experiencing this scent in candle form. Perfect for the dark and cozy nights when you want to hunker down and give in to hedonistic tendencies or just relax and indulge a little. 

The Devil is also associated with the astrological sign of Capricorn. Known for being hardworking, loyal, ambitious, value-driven, and by the book, the lesser known qualities of this cardinal earth sign are reflected in the complexity and depth of the fragrance. Highly spiritual, deep, and dark, Capricorns are symbolized by the sea goat. They possess the ability to swim to the deepest, and darkest parts of the emotional waters and climb to the highest peaks, conquering the most difficult challenges and dangerous cliffs.
